Collagel Hydrogels-New

Formulated using Type 1 Bovine, Human or Rat Collagen

Their CollaGel Hydrogel matches the softness of the body’s tissues. It can be used to culture neurons in an environment as soft as the brain, cardiomyocytes on the stiffness of muscle, or whatever your cells’ tissue of origin may be. In a 3D tissue model, their CollaGel Hydrogel helps the cells build stronger basement membranes.

Using these gels, you can now form small tube-like structures in combination with Human Umbilical Vein Endothelial Cells (HUVEC) in a 3D model. Our CollaGel Hydrogel can also be used for 3D printing without worrying about the needles in your machine been broken due to the fast gelling process. AlphaMAX3D

Potent three dimensional environment for cell culturing

AlphaMAX3D contains all the essential human extracellular matrix (ECM) components of a native environment including collagens, laminin, fibronectin, tenascin, elastin, numerous proteoglycans and glycosaminoglycans.  In contrast to basement membrane extract (BME) isolated from Engelbreth-Holm-Swarm (EHS) murine tumors (EHS-BME) that contains higher levels of growth factors (especially TGF-b), AlphaMAX3D contains levels of TGF-b that are very similar to the levels seen in vivo.

The cell-cultured derived ECM effectively reproduces the cooperative interaction of epithelia and mesenchyme during development and in organotypic cell culture of skin. It promotes cell growth, differentiation and migration and has been shown to support the proliferation of many cell types, including neural stem cells, neurons, glia, astrocytes, fibroblasts, hepatocytes and keratinocytes.


AlphaGEL3D

Novel synthetic peptide hydrogel

A synthetic peptide nanofiber scaffold, AlphaGEL3D offers the precision and control of a synthesized matrix with the natural three-dimensional architecture of highly crosslinked peptide hydrogel. The HydroMatrix scaffold self-assembles from fluid precursors into a highly cross-linked peptide 3-dimensional hydrogel in response to changes in temperature or ionic strength.
By adjusting the concentration of the AlphaGEL3D solution, researchers are able to control the flexibility of the 3-D architecture, and tailor the structure to meet their individual needs. HydroMatrix promotes cell growth and migration and has been shown to support the proliferation of many cell types, including neural stem cells, neurons, glia, astrocytes, fibroblasts, and keratinocytes.
